Bass-driven riffs, a drum kit whose ride never has a moment’s peace. The tried and tested “loud-quiet scheme” is often neglected in favor of “louder-louder”. If you now have a ghostly “here we are now, entertain us” wafting through your head, you’re not far wrong. It’s grungetime, with sprinklings of related punk and post-punk subgenres. Since 2016, they have released a longplayer every three years, so we are hoping to be presented with new material. Mostly on the road in a traditional but changeable trio line-up, the combo from Brooklyn, New York has played pretty much everywhere. Reminiscent of the better days of my youth. Consequently, they also have cassettes on offer.
