East and Southeast European fokllore meets klezmer. Often instrumental (or at least without words), when vocals are added, it often gets really thick: sweet, in sentence singing, or with impressive choirs. Even in the wildest moments, thanks to the timbre of the clarinet, there is an underlying melancholy that provides a counterpoint to the often bouncing rhythms. Thoughtful and at the same time good mood, always danceable, or capable of rocking along, performed on acoustic instruments.
